About Carson

Carson Hochhalter is a professional speaker and survivor who brings raw honesty, practical insight, and deep conviction to every stage he steps on. A seasoned advocate in the anti-human trafficking field, Carson has spent nearly a decade empowering communities, training professionals, and equipping youth to recognize and respond to exploitation.

But Carson’s story goes beyond advocacy. At just nine years old, he faced a sudden medical crisis that changed the course of his life, forcing him to wrestle with questions of purpose, pain, and what it means to lead from the middle of the storm. That early experience lit a fire that continues to shape his message today: resilience isn’t built on perfection, it’s built on getting back up, again and again.

With a voice that’s both grounded and inspiring, Carson challenges audiences to move beyond passive awareness and into purposeful action. Whether he’s addressing corporate leaders, healthcare professionals, educators, or high school students, his talks are infused with humor, heart, and a call to be a lifeline for others.

When he’s not on stage, Carson serves as VP and COO at The LifeGuard Group, managing a statewide human trafficking hotline, coordinating outreach, and leading one of Montana’s most impactful youth prevention programs, The LifeLine Project.

Carson lives outside Missoula, Montana with his wife, Kara, and their yellow lab, Murphy. His talks remind listeners that purpose isn’t something you find once, it’s something you fight for, one decision at a time.
